Lunch & Learn: Navigating the Patient-Provider Conversation

We are nearing the end of our 2022 Lunch and Learn sessions. This next event will highlight the importance of parents, caregivers, and patients navigating conversations with providers, as well as a provider's role in educating about the diagnosis. This relationship is essential to building trust in navigating treatment options for individuals who may be eligible for gene and cell therapies. We will hear from a clinician who will share advice on how to guide someone through the process of going from a diagnosis to a treatment plan and the lessons learned from that process. We will also hear the caregiver perspective and learn about resources and other things to consider when navigating your family through this mental and emotional experience.
